Movies made with hanging-embryo mounts (random DV/RL orientation for each embryo).
Reporter on integrated transgene.
Both movies show expression beginning ~320 minutes after fertilization in head muscles extending to the tip of the buccal cavity.
1Jac = dorsal view, including onset of expression in C-derived dorsal hyp7 precursors ~180 minutes after fertilization, expression throughout body muscle (but especially head) drowns out any remaining hyp/epidermal signal by the time of elongation and movement.
